Selected vineyards in the hills of Valpolicella DOC.

The gently pressed grapes are skin-macerated for 8-10 days at controlled temperature, The wine ages for 6-8 months both in large oak barrels and in concrete or stainless-steel tanks.

Bright ruby red colour with violet flecks. The characteristic bouquet is reminiscent of cherries, sour black cherry and plum. On the palate the wine is medium bodied, well-structured, and slightly tannic.

An ideal accompaniment for mildly flavoured pastas, sauced white meats, grilled red meats as well as flavourful fish like eel.
